I'm sure that this question has been asked (I did my homework but couldn't find the answer since this discussion board only goes back to December something 2000)... Anyhoo...can I paint over wallpaper?? I've been told that if the paper is in good condition (which it is) the only thing that I have to do is sand it lightly, put joint compound over the seams, primer and paint...)... Make no mistake about it...this is COSMETIC only..We're selling in 6 or less months and just want to spruce things up a bit...
Anyone know the lifetime for paint over wallpaper?? If I DO paint over wallpaper do I even need to prime first??
