Joey, your tile will be subject to a lot of rain, snow, sleet, below freezing or below zero temperature and maybe 100 degree plus days. There have been some pretty good tornado's not too far from you. I would look at stainless steel first. I have seen regular cement used with ceramic tiles or glass tiles for stepping stones and the like and also over basically over solid brick or block structures. I think that you are looking for trouble with anything else.
