Jan, you might want to check out Citristrip Adhesive Remover. They have a site at www.citristrip.com and products marketed by the same company are at www.kleanstrip.com. I don't believe in using methyl chloride based product but I think that the Citristrip paint stripper is a pretty good mix of safety with enough power to do the job. I have never seen or used Citristrip Adhesive Remover but I would guess that its in the same category. The Kleanstrip site is currently updating the product info section or perhaps I could give you more info.
