I am constructing a new home with an "L" shaped wraparound porch. the porch dimensions are: 8' wide, 45' across the front and 30' down the side. the slab will be 6" thick. I am installing 12" rebar throughout, on a 1' grid. (the sub-base is compacted stone). My question is: Do I need expansion joints, or any other kind of crack control joints on this?
