I can't comment on the ease of maintenance or long term durability, but I just finished a Wilsonart installation - it is a do-it-yourself project IF you have average DIY talents, a good table saw, and are careful in following instructions. I installed the 15 1/2 inch tiles in the Malacca Slate pattern. The finished product is outstanding.
