already removed 90% of the padding, but some spots are sticking to the beautiful hardwood floors below, what is the best way to remove the remaining padding without damaging the floors. Alls the hardwood floors need is the staple holes filled and a good polishing. They do not need to be stripped or sanded. They are in excellent condition. Thanks for any replies. Laura
