Kohlers 10" rough toilets are adjusted in the bowl itself where as most others take away from the depth of the tank making them "skinny" or cheap looking. The average person can not tell with the kohlers. I would not suggest an offset flange unless it is a last resort, the offset narrows the hole in the flange. Hope my livig as a plumber was able to help in some way.
