You have the electric motor, the belt and the fan and the cage. Walla, thats about it. Now, I would try first to replace the component that is bad, which I am sure its the motor. Insert a new motor and oil the fan axle, oil and clean the louvers, and replace the belt and your set. Then, if you need to, installing a new fan is very easy, but it takes two men and a ladder. You will have to enlarge, shrink, or if your lucky leave the existing hole alone. Good Luck
