Help!!! Our basement sump pump failed last weekend and the carpets downstairs got water logged. We had to remove some of the underlay as it was acting like a sponge and wouldn't dry out. Now the carpet has a very pungent mildew smell,our next step is to rent a steam cleaner, but we would like any tips on getting this odor out??!!!
