Two years ago, I dug out some old failing grout with grout tool. I did the bottom 3 rows of tile in shower. Then, I re-gouted with pre-mixed grout. Let it dry for a week and used silicon grout sealer.
Well 2 years later, and what I repaired is failing! The new grout discolored, shrunk over-time in spots. It is soft and flaky in spots. What could I have done wrong?
I am removing the grout and getting ready to re-grout again. What tips might help? What is the BEST type of grout to use? Any help appreciated!!!
