My house is less than 2 yrs old (2 story, vinyl siding). I've got a problem that is so infrequent (3-4 times a year), I wasn't sure it whether it was really a problem or someone spilling water on the floor! If the rain is particularly hard, a small amount of water seeps up in a small area from between the 1 foot square tiles in my kitchen floor (4 feet from the closest wall). I can go directly under the spot (to the basement) and look up to see there is no sign of water on the 3/4 plywood. Directly over the spot is a dry drywall ceiling. The only thing I can figure is my vinyl siding is leaking and the water is running under the tile to this point. Suggestions on how to run this down?
