Hi Mike, Assuming you're referring to fiberglass or asphalt roofing shingles, ... Lay the last sheet down, and with your utility knife, make a nick that is 1/4" - 3/8" BEYOND the rake. Then, flip the shingle over, and with the help of a Framing/Roofer's Triangle, line it up on the nick, then cut the 'top half' (and hold on a second.) Spin the sheet around and cut the 'bottom half'.
