and when you reset the toilet, don't caulk around the base, or at least leave a couple inches uncaulked at the back. if the wax ring should ever leak again, you want that water to leak out where you can see it and be warned. people often make the mistake of caulking all around the base, and that lets a leak rot your floor a long time before you're aware of it.
