Linda, I'm the Marketing Manager for Amtico. I have one of the woods in my own home and love it! No one who visits knows the difference! Of course, because I market the product, I get a kick out of telling them it's a laminated polymeric, but you wouldn't need to do that. You can just smile through the years while your floor doesn't warp, splinter, fade in sunlight -- AND you Amtico floor will never need to be resanded, restained or refinished!
