Are you certain it's that bad that you really want to backfill your pool??? That's pretty drastic... Here's a URL for a compant I have dealt with for pump and filter parts for a sand filter. My pool is above ground, and I just had the vinyl liner replaced last month. Total cost of about $400.00 which is truly inexpensive. In shopping around I found that the average cost to have it done for you is about $500-600.00. In-ground may be a bit different. Leisure time pools are fine folks and I'd recommend them anytime. I was very pleased with their service and ability to answer my many questions by e-mail. There are lots of company's listed on the net who specialize in pool liners and related.
