rabbits and squirrels chewing on ceder siding?

I have had my ceder siding power washed and restained last year. I now have squirrels chewing on siding. They climb up on the siding and chew. The rabbits are chewing the bottom of the siding. I have tried hot pepper ,moth balls , restaining the area. Trapping chasing them with a bebe gun. They come back.

Any ideas please
