on the walls is fresh paint, then just paint patch the areas. You can use any color of caulking you want as long as its paintable. If its not paintable like silicon, then paint will roll off the caulking.
Dap, Sherwin, any good caulking will work. Paint, I would use the brand that is on the wall now.
