I'm changing over from old 2 slot electrical outlets to 3 slot outlets. I attached the ground wire to the metal outlet box. When I turn the power back on and test the outlet, the tester shows that the ground is not connected. I did this once before in another house that had metal clad electrical cable and it worked fine. What do I need to do in this situation when the cable is plastic coated?
