I would like to take out the hardwood floor from a century old house that is going to be destroyed, but I haven't the first clue as to how to do it.
I don't know what kind of wood it is, but it has been layed in stripes with hardly any space inbetween the slats. Should I expect the floor to be nailed to the floor, nailed to the other slats, glued??
What is the best way to take it up so that it can be reinstalled into another home at another time? What tools should I use?
