ours cannot see in side the caves and rely upon sonar or clicking, but they can see. Around Austin in the evenings from under Interstate 35 you can see thousands upon thousands take off for feeding around sunset. It looks like the sky is on fire with smoke.
Anyway, they can see but have a very uncanny ability to use clicks to nav in dark caves.
