... Then I'd agree w/jb. I have the same situation as you. My gable vents are still there. They can only help. I DO have an gable fan on one vent for when the attic temp gets above 115 degrees. The attic is 75 sq. ft. and the fan is a low-flow fan. It's meant to augment the natural ventilation system (of having soffit vents and a ridge vent.)
