any ideas out there about how to clean the inside of wooden kitchen drawers? We recently bought a 1948 Royal Barry Wills Cape in Mass and most everything in the house is in pretty good shape but the kitchen drawers smell!!! We hesitate to paint or polyurethane them for fear that they will stick (they are hard enough to open now). Any solution besides having new drawers made (there are 17 of them) thanks so much and I appreciate any advice.
