I was thinking of using metal studs in my basement finishing job for cost and straightness. My question is which insulation is the best for this application? Should I use kraft-faced fiberglass? if so, how would I attach it? or should I use the styro-base panels in between the studs. Either one utilizing a vapor barrier on the inside under the drywall layer. Another option might be to glue the 4x8 sheets 1/2" insulation diretly to the concrete block and stud out from there? Any help/guidence in this area would be greatly appreciated.
