Hi Suzi, Tread size, wood type, and style are just a few of the unknowns until you can find what you're looking for. Until you do, THEN 'we' can talk about installation. Visit your local Preservation Society or even Historical Society for guidance. When it comes to Victorian restoration, it will cost good $$$ for material (alone) even for a DIYer.
