first you can try Home Depo or other lumber yards. they usually have a do it yourself guide for almost any thing. You could also try to talk to a supervisor on most framing crews, although their books mostly involve codes instead of instructions.i have been in construction for about 7 years, and would be glad to talk to you about it. my email is yayalife@yahoo.com
