Dear Kevin, Anybody can replace a bathtub; but can they do it right. Assuming your you have some experience in demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tile it no big deal. The big deal is to remove the old tub. Trying all methods, breaking it up with a sledgehammer is still the fastest. But plan on breaking a sweat. First things first if you feel confident about remodeling your bathroom start with a good plan. 2nd is this your only bathroom. An average bathroom will take about two weeks, longer if you are considering changing fixture locations. That two weeks is by a professional. Hope I did'nt scare you.
