It sounds to me that you are getting water in your walls & it is being trapped in there if you dig up the out side of your home & trench & seal it you will no longer have this problem I am an experianced Basement Waterproofer & I deal with things like this all the time if you have any other questions please feel free to drop me a line at lfeathers( LFeathers) @ Yahoo.com I will be more then happy to answer anyt other questions you may have
