One other thought I had, could the ball be set too low? How do you raise the ball on the pump? We also have new rain gutters with 6 foot down spouts and the grading is sloped away from the house and the back of side of the home was backfilled with pea gravel and the driveway was mudjacked away from the house as well. The neighbors said this used to be marshy land 40 years ago?
