pergo floor needs repair

Help....A glass of water for spilled into the pergo floor and was not wiped up until I saw it there. Now the finish on the flooring appears to have "risen" along with the grain of the wood. What can I do to settle the ridges down/smooth it back out WITHOUT having to replace the planks. HELP- I'm desperate if anyone knows how to fix, PLEASE advise...Thanks a bunch
