If you have sixty years of accumulated dirt, grime, carbon buildup, etc. on your home power washing by itself is not going to do a very good cleaning job. Putting too much water pressure on to the surface could also damage the substrate. I would suggest you apply a chemical cleaning agent first and then use about 1500/2000 psi to clean your home. Check with your local DIY center.
