Get your electrician to fix HIS mistakes. (if they really are mistakes) When all signed off go over the inspectors head and have his ass in a sling! He is there to work with you and protect people from shoddy workmanship and NOT to harrass. Some inspectors seem to have somewhat of an "us against them" attitude for some unknown reason. Many are grosly underqualified and as such may not be able to interperet the code as it was meant to be. This must be stopped and the only way to do this is to bring it to the proper officials attention. I have on several occasions gone to the state over the local guy with no repercussions. (I was correct) Don't be bullied!
