I don't know about selling it, but I know where I live you need a demolition permit and you should make sure that your subcontractor (or wood salvage guy) is bonded and/or insured for a hefty sum. What happens to you if he, or his helper gets croaked when the barn falls on him? He needs insurance, etc. to cover all this.
