As for me, I can't really say what you should do w/o seeing the situation. What 'troubles' me is the potential for the room to get too warm. It's best to insulate just the pipes and the units (if that's allowable), and not necessarily the ceiling, walls, etc., etc.. Ctc the mfgr. of the unit and discuss the situation w/them.
