I am posting this again because it seems that someone else's message got posted under my title.
This may be a silly question, but here goes: My wife and I would like to have a garage door opener installed. We have a 1-car garage attached to our ranch. Other than the garage door opening, we have no other access to the garage. My question is, will I have a way to enter the garage during a power outage or if the door opener fails? Is there a way to manually override a door opener from the outside, while maintaining a level of security? Obviously, I wouldn't want anyone else to be able to get in!
