Abnout l5 years ago I covered a concrete basement floor with tiles I beliveed to be vinle tile. Beige with tan speckles. I glued them down rather than use the self stick because this was to be kept an unfinished basement for storage and play area. i recently had a floor company over to measure and give me a price to cover over these tiles. They said i would have to have the tiles professionally removed because they were asbestos. Then i could by the non stick on 12 " sq. Were all vinal non asbestoes tiles sold l5 years ago? When they stop selling the asbestoes tiles and why can I not just cover over the existing tiles? having them glued down again.
