We are trying to redo the flooring in our house. We are going to replace our carpeting with wood laminant. When we removed the carpeting from the floor, we discovered that before it was laid there must have been foam backed carpet there. We need to polyurithane the floor because of pet urine. We were told we could not do this with the foam still attached at various places on the the floor. Please tell us what we can do.
