Thanks Jay, They are great for some apps but my shingle overhange doesn't give me the luxury of pushing the gutters an inch or more away from the side of the house. And I'm not going to pull the slates and extend the roof decking out a couple of inches!!
Those vents are great for roofs that can handle it. Maybe my next house. ;-) --Billy
