The paneling can be redone by first washing with a strong cleaner and making sure that it is well rinsed and allowed to dry for a couple of days. Then wipe it down with Minwax Antique Oil and allow to dry for several hours. Make sure to wear gloves and use an old rag that is lint free and take the time to use masking tape to protect the areas that arent getting refinished.
