The house I am purchasing was built in 1959, renovated in 1998 and has aluminum wiring. I am not sure how safe that wiring will be. I had a house inspection done and all outlets tested okay.
I had been warned years ago that aluminum was unsafe. If I have the house rewired (small 2 bedroom house), how much would it cost approximately?
