Jack, I think that you will quickly become disenchanted with any steel brackets that you may try. Instead, why not consider making brackets shaped like the number 7. Use something like a 2x4 screwed to the wall studs then the 7 shaped bracket screwed into the 2x4 from the back. You can make it as decorative or as basic as you choose. Henry
