We did a remodel in our basement. The concert floor was sealed with a top brand sealer. then we installed a rubber pad and Berber carpet. BEST thing we could have done. The sealer stopped a major part of the moisture and the rubber pad finishes the job. Not only does the pad provide protection it is nice and warm.
