Greetings Paul, You have one of two problems, 1) the faucet may be striped. 2) You may need vitamins. (only kidding) If you can't turn the faucet, it is probably bound up. I would turn the water off to the faucet and remove it. then if you can not take it apart, I would just replace it. Good luck,
