are you asking if there are downdraft ventilation systems for island installed stoves to vent back into the house versus vent out of the house? since you were reluctant to breaking thru your foundation (sounds like it is a slab but just my assumption!)!! If I got your question correctly ,,,I am not aware of downdraft vents that are not ducted outdoors. but I probably missed the point of your question. Try again ans surely someone can help you ,,,if I didnt. I would vote to have you break thru your foundation and duct the vent for your stovetop outdoors like it should done....... LJ
