than it is, You got it right...to cut the right hand piece of an inside corner, the material will be on the left of the blade with the top of the crown on the table and the saw set at a 45 degrees to the left.....to cut outside corner righthand piece, follow same with blade set 45 degrees to the right. Just line up the bevel on the back of the crown with the fence and table.
I can have a room of 5 1/2" crown cut this way before I can remember what to flip where for the compound angles.
