What is the floor under the padding. If it is wood I would advise against the machine to remove the padding.I have you several methods from a paint scraper to a sharpened spade, every job seems to be different. If it is concrete this will work. What are you planning to put down over the floor. Depending on what you are going to use for flooring will depend on how far you have to go with removal of the padding.
