Thanks for responding. I've removed screws and bolts from the side connecting cabinet, from the back wall and from the soffit. The back of the cabinet has an indented section approximately 1/2" deep and 3" high along the top of the cabinet. I assume this is to fit whatever it is hanging on. Tonight I will move the frig and see if I can see something. Is it possible the built the soffits after installing the cabinets?
