I am a new home owner. My house has a hot water heating system, and the house is equipped with cast iron radiators. My question is: would replacing the radiator heaters with baseboard heaters result in a lower gas bill or should I keep the cast iron radiators. If the answer is to replace them, how do I determine how much BTU do I need the heater to have.
