thanks for the advice tim. That seems to be the problem after taking it off and looking at it. the piece is a plastic piece and it appears that the washers in it are messed up. MY new problem now is where to find a replacement part. I have checked many plumbing stores and no one seems to have it. I have no ideal how to get in touch with the manufacturer. it is a beauty glas by briggs. If anyone knows where i can find parts for this I would appreciate it. thanks
