I want to go to plain hardwood floors because the carpet is old. The floors are in excellant condition. Another words they have always been covered with carpet. Well i started pulling up the carpet, And the padding is dried to the floor. Some of it comes up easy and some is not. I am using a plastic scraper because i do not want to scratch the floors. The way it looks this is going to be time consuming. Please tell me there is another way , or an easier way.......Rhonda
