this is a new term for me or one that overlaps onto another "been around" product. Durarock or cementious board may be cut with a circular saw using a carbide blade then throw that one away. Now, this material should be able to be cut with a circular saw or a scroll saw. But, check with the dealer first to see. Secondly, drywall screws COULD be used, but on floors where moisture CAN be around, I would use the expensive Deck Screws that are much stronger than drywall screws. Heads break off too easy with drywall screws and they can be weakened, I don't think that you want to ever go back in there to tighten a sqeakly floor because SR screws rusted out. Also, screw down every 8 inches. Please don't get me wrong, SR screws will work and many use them, but there is something with more insurance and durability.
